The spirit of the mountains at the heart of the glaciers

The Patrouille des Aiguilles Rouges aims to offer a magnificent setting for sporting competition in the upper Val d’Hérens. Created in 2015, this competition offers a spectacular route in the heart of the glaciers, consisting of 2 courses including sections of portage and belay. They pass through emblematic sites such as the Roussette, the Aiguilles Rouges glacier and the Pointe de Darbonnaire, as well as Mont de l’Etoile and the Ignes. The safety of the entire course is ensured by the region’s guides and an extensive heliport system.
