The Alpiniski organization would like to thank you for your participation and energy. While the mountains provide us with a magnificent playground, they are the sole masters of the conditions.
One priority: your safety Due to changing conditions during the event, race management took the imperative decision to close the Les Perrons sector (1st descent and 2nd ascent) at around 11:00 am. To ensure everyone's safety, competitors who have not yet reached this point have been diverted directly to the Col de Golette.
Consequences for rankings This modification of the course in real time means that, within the same category, not all participants have covered the same distance or the same altitude difference. As a result, the list of raw results shows times that are not mathematically comparable. This is not a timing error, but a faithful reflection of the different routes taken.
Grand Parcours: Part of the teams completed the entire course, while the other part was directed to the fallback course. The times displayed are your actual times, but the overall ranking therefore mixes two different efforts.
Short course: The first three men's teams completed an extra loop (approx. 30-35 min) compared with the rest of the field. Thanks to the intermediate checkpoints, we were able to restore sporting fairness: their times were weighted to validate the podium, while the times of the other teams remained unchanged.
Validated podiums Thanks to precise tracking at intermediate points along the route, we can confirm that all podiums are accurate and validated.
We've done our utmost to maintain a dynamic race, but the mountains may or may not open their doors to us. We thank you for your understanding, kindness and sportsmanship in the face of these natural hazards.
